Top Ten Tuesday

Hey everybody! Today I have another Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this weeks top ten is favourite classic books. I'm going to change it up a bit and instead of doing my top ten favourite classics, i'm going to do the top ten books i think will become 'classics' from my generation! I decided to do it this way because I haven't read many classics and I thought it would be quite fun to do! I've split the list into two parts. Book I think would be classed as 'classics' and books I WISH would be because they're so amazing!

Books I think would become 'classics'

The most obvious first 'classic' would have to be Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling. I mean really, does it need any explanation?

Probably the most popular book at the moment, I couldn't leave TFIOS off the list. So many people I know who NEVER read, have read this book!

The Hunger Games...I believe it started off a lot of people's love for dystopian books. It sure did for me!

One of the most amazing books I've read this year, this book is a true masterpiece in my opinion.

Okay...I know what you're thinking. TWILIGHT A CLASSIC? Okay so maybe not. But I do know for a fact that Twilight got a lot of people into reading. That's got to count for something right? You don't have to like it, but you have to admit it did spark a lot of people's love for reading!

Books I wish would become 'classics'

Across the Universe is one of my favourite trilogies of all time and I wish more people had read it.

Another book that i really loved. It's a little strange and a little depressing, but I highly enjoyed this book!

I read this book back in the day, and I remember loving it at the time and for a while it was my favourite book. The writing style in this book is poetic and so different from other books i've read. This is one of those books that I will never forget.

Such a touching story, the reason I included this one here was because like Wintergirls, I think this book is going to stick with me forever. It holds a special place in my heart!

Probably one of the best books I have read this year, Making Faces was an absolutely beautiful read and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Okay, so if i'm being honest those last five would never be classified as a classic. They're more so just books I think everybody should read. So go forth young Padawan, read ALL the books.

What are some books you think should be made into classics? Or just wish more people had read! Comment below and let me know :)
